DRAGON CHICKEN RECIPE | INDO - CHINESE CHICKEN RECIPE - HAPPIEE EATZ

Dragon Chicken is an Indo - Chinese chicken dish with a mix of spicy, sweet and tangy flavors. It tastes good when having it with fried rice or noodles. Check 👇 for the recipe.

Ingredients:
🍗Chicken (boneless strips) - 500gms
🍗Egg - 1
🍗Soy sauce - 1 tsp
🍗Pepper - 1tsp
🍗Red chilly powder - 1 tsp
🍗Salt - 1tsp
🍗Corn flour - 1 1/2 tsp
🍗Maida - 1/2 cup
🍗Oil - 2 tbsp
🍗Onion(sliced) - 1(if large), 2(if medium)
🍗Capsicum(sliced) - 1 (optional)
🍗Broken cashews - 1/2 cup
🍗Garlic (finely chopped) - 2 tbsp
🍗Soy sauce - 1/2 tbsp
🍗Dry red chilly paste - 1 tbsp
🍗Tomato ketchup - 1 tbsp
🍗Vinegar - 1tsp
🍗Sugar - 1 tbsp
🍗Salt - if required
🍗Corn flour - 1 tbsp
Method:
🍗Clean the chicken well with rock salt. Cut the boneless chicken into strips.
🍗Drain all the water from the chicken and marinate it with all the ingredients mentioned in the 'marination'. If the marination is too thick, take little amount of water in hand and mix.
🍗The marination should nothing be too thick or too watery. Leave it for 15 minutes.
🍗Heat the oil with high flame and deep fry the marinated chicken at medium flame.
🍗Take off the chicken once it is done.
🍗 For sauce, take a kadai / wok, add oil and let it heat.
🍗Add finely chopped garlic and broken cashews and fry it in low flame. until it becomes mild golden color.
🍗Add red chilly paste and saute until the raw smell of chilly paste goes off.
🍗Now, add all the ingredients mentioned in the sauce category except corn flour and saute it well.
🍗Then, prepare a corn flour slurry with 1 tbsp of corn flour and dilute it with 1/4 cup of water. Dilute the corn flour well and add it to the sauce.
🍗Add the fried chicken to the sauce and saute it well.
🍗Garnish it with sesame seed and serve hot with fried rice or noodles.
Note:
🍗Add dry red chilly paste if you need more spiciness and reduce for less spiciness. Add tomato ketchup/ sugar for sweetness.
