Ingredients:
🍅Oil - 1tsp
🍅Mustard seeds - 1/2 tsp
🍅Tomato - 2 (if small) or 11/2 (if big)
🍅Chopped Onion Or Shallots- 1/2 tbsp (optional)
🍅Tamarind - lemon size
🍅Garlic - 4 cloves
🍅Peppercorn - 1 1/2 tsp
🍅Dry red chilly - 1
🍅Coriander seed - 1tsp
🍅Cumin - 1 tsp
🍅Curry leaves - 5 leaves
🍅Asafoetida - 1/2 tsp
🍅Salt - as per your requirement
🍅Coriander leaves - 1/4 cup

Method:
🍅Grind peppercorn, cumin, coriander seeds and dry red chilly first. Then, add tomatoes and grind along with it until becomes paste. (Don't add water while grinding).
🍅Soak the tamarind with 1 cup of water before grinding. Let it soak for 10 mins.
🍅Take a kadai and add 1tsp of oil and add mustard seeds.
🍅Crush the garlic in the mortar and add to the kadai. Saute till garlic becomes light brown. Then add chopped Onion (optional)and curry leaves.
🍅Add the grinded paste with 1/2 cup of water and allow it to boil for few mins till the raw smell goes off.
🍅Then add the tamarind water with 2 cups of water. Add asafotida and salt.
🍅Once it starts boiling, switch off the flame and add finely chopped coriander leaves.
🍅Enjoy with hot rice with your favorite side dish☺.
Note:
🍅Add pepper atlast if the spice level is low or add peppercorn or dry red chilly while grinding.
