MUTTON CHUKKA FRY RECIPE | MUTTON PEPPER FRY RECIPE - HAPPIEE EATZ

🥩Refined oil - 4 tbsp
🥩Mustard seed - 1 tbsp
🥩Shallots (finely chopped) - 1/4 cup
🥩 Ginger Garlic Paste - 1/2 tbsp
🥩Onion (finely chopped) - 1
🥩Dry Red Chilly - 2
🥩Curry leaves - 1/2 sprig
🥩Turmeric powder - 1 tsp
🥩Chilly powder - 1/2 tbsp
🥩Salt - as per your taste
🥩Cinnamon - 1/2 inch
🥩Cardamom - 1
🥩Grated coconut - 1tbsp
🥩Cumin - 1tsp
🥩Coriander seed - 1 tsp
🥩Fennel seed - 1/2 tsp
🥩Dry Red chilly - 2 nos.
Method:
*For sukka masala powder:
🥩Dry roast all the ingredients mentioned in Chukka Masala Powder until you get aroma from it. Kindly don't over roast the ingredients.
🥩Cool the roasted ingredients and grind it to fine powder.
*For the Mutton Pepper Chukka:
🥩Wash the mutton well with turmeric powder and rock salt.
🥩Add 1tbsp of oil in a pressure cooker and add washed mutton pieces.
🥩Add ginger garlic paste and 1/4 cup of water. Close the cooker with lid upside down for 3 minutes until the water from mutton comes out.
🥩Add salt and 1/2 tbsp red chilly powder to it with 1/2 cup of water and pressure cook till 5 whistles or till the mutton pieces are cooked.
🥩Take a kadai and heat 3 tbsp of oil. Add mustard seed, curry leaves, dy red chillies and onions. Saute it well.
🥩Once the steam in pressure cooker is settled, tranfer the mutton pieces along with water to the kadai.
🥩After the water starts boiling, add the grinded chukka Masala Powder to it.
🥩Add 2 tbsp of finely chopped onions when it is slightly water consistency.
🥩Cook the mutton until all the water gets dried up.
🥩Once it is dried up, add handful of finely chopped coriander leaves and give a stir.
Note:
🥩Add pepper powder at last if you need more spiciness.
