Method:
🍤Check if the black nerves from prawns are removed and clean it well with turmeric powder and rock salt. Rinse it 3 times. Drain off all the water from it.
🍤Add red chilly powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, chopped curry leaves, 1 tsp of salt and lemon and marinate the prawns for 15 minutes.
🍤Take a kadai, add refined/sunflower oil and add fennel seed.
🍤Add finely chopped onions and saute until it turns translucent.
🍤Add ginger garlic paste and saute it until the raw smell goes off.
🍤Add the marinated prawns and fry it with 1/4cup of water. Add salt if it required.
🍤Turn off the stove until it becomes partially dry.
🍤Take a tawa, spread oil on it and fry the prepared prawns till it becomes dry. When it forms a full circle, it's completely done. Don't overcook after this as it becomes rubbery.
🍤Drizzle 1 tbsp of coconut oil over the prawns and mix it once.
🍤Serve it hot and enjoy.
🍤Drizzle few drops of lime juice while having it . It enhances the taste. But it is completely optional.
Note:
🍤If you need more spiciness, add red chilly powder while frying in kadai.
